Putin is trying to establish an empire, so I don’t see how you figure

No? The RF wants to demillitarize Ukraine and create a buffer against NATO, there’s no evidence of wanting to go beyond that.

          *occupy ukraine, ftfy

Not sure why they would need a buffer against NATO anyway. NATO doesn’t do anything unless you attack a member country.

You need to read more about NATO, historically. Yugoslavia, Libya, Operation GLADIO, those are just a few of the times NATO has been used offensively. NATO is a terrorist army for imperialist countries.

Right, until it doesn’t. Russia is just trying to ensure the security of their own country against the imperialist west

Yeah its totally cool when your geopolitical rivals continue to encircle you and acquire territory past every red line agreed upon. Having missiles that could strike major Russian targets within 10 minutes is totally something they should just accept from the western powers. Russia has been very clear about why they don’t want NATO at their borders for decades. You simply haven’t been listening.

Ukraine was Russia’s last “red line” its no wonder NATOs attempt to acquire it erupted into war.
