That’s also not a very useful answer.

What is your bare minimum requirement? Run X game at Y resolution? Run some CAD program at Z speed? Just output video but not be integrated graphics for some reason?

That first game came out in 2011, and Armello came out in 2015 so those should run fine on the integrated graphics. I don’t think Chivalry 2 would though.

Chivalry’s minimum requirements according to steam are Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 or AMD Radeon HD 7870 which are ~12 year old GPUs at this point. The RX 6500 is about the cheapest video card that I’ll see in stores. Not counting the “video adapters” I’ll see.

But based on the Russian characters I’m going to assume you’re in Russia? I have no idea what the market is like there, but since Chivalry is so old honestly any video card released within the last 10 years should do. A GTX 1070 or 1080 would be a great card if you can find one used. The GTX 1060 is alright. The RX 480/580 should also run it well, or if you can find a Vega the Vega 56 is the recommended GPU for the game.

So, if I choose some videocard - I can’t do a wrong choice? How many chances that if I buy some videocard - it will doesn’t works on my PC?

Pretty much. PCIe has been the standard connector for video cards for the last 20 years. And the power cable to power the GPU has been the same for just as long (newer cards have switched to something else, but they come with adapters). As long as it’s not broken it should work.

The only thing to look out for is drivers. The oldest video cards you can run with windows 11 are the Nvidia 400 series (came out in 2010) and the AMD HD 7000 series (came out in 2012). Both are old enough I wouldn’t suggest buying them. I’d target at least the Nvidia 900 series, or the RX 480 for AMD. If you’re on Linux then try to get an AMD video card since they tend to work better there.

Whatever you find Google around and see what the general opinion is of the card. The GTX 1060 for example has a 6gb version that’s pretty good, but the 3gb version was really bad on release, and even worse these days. For what you need even the 3gb version should be fine, but I’d try to set the minimum bar at GTX 1060 6gb. Tech powerup has a relative performance index on it that you could use to compare things. It’s pretty biased towards nvidia so keep that in mind.

I don’t know enough about the current state of pc parts to give good recommendations, but I have found the subreddit “/r/buildmeapc” very helpful for getting an idea at any one time what might be a decent gaming build that doesn’t overspend on any one particular thing.

    https://redlib.hbubli.cc/r/buildmeapc

    old.reddit.com/r/buildmeapc

I would recommend just grabbing some parts lists from posts on that reddit that people say are decent and the associated general cost and compare it against whatever you decide for a sanity check.
