Two state lawmakers were shot in an apparent "targeted" incident on Saturday, officials said. Their conditions are grave. A source familiar with the matter tells ABC News that two of those shot are state Sen. John Hoffman of Champlin and state Rep. Melissa Hortman of Brooklyn Park. Both were shot at their homes, and authorities believe the shooter was impersonating law enforcement, the source says.
The guy had a police vehicle or one modified to look like one.
Police engaged him at the Hortman’s where he took cover in. They say he escaped on foot. The suspect supposedly had a fake badge, fake uniform, and appeared to have police kit such as a taser and tactical vest.
Police say they found a manifesto in the vehicle with a list of names.

Sure “fake” they let him walk away, most of been very real for those cops.
