    I cant remember her name but isn’t that she an aggressive homophobe who got pied in the face? I remember it being very satisfying to watch. My brain is telling me it was in the UK

      Yep Anita Bryant (US), and iirc, died poor and in obscurity after criticizing gay people.

      Not the UK. Anita Bryant an evil bigot who laid the groundwork for Florida’s Don’t Say Gay bill and advocated against gay rights, “protect the children.” DeSantis later signed in a bill kind of based off her original one re the classrooms, etc. Too bad FL has such beautiful coastlines, but it really should be boycotted at all cost. A lot of the people outside the gay meccas support these efforts.
