Public infrastructure shouldn’t be designed to subsidize luxuries like owning SUVs. If parking spaces come out of the car owner’s pockets they will at least have an incentive to downsize.
Didn’t you read the article? They are getting rid of garages mandatory parking. So instead of having a minimum, let alone enough. You may or even must build condos with no parking on site.
