    Almost 40 pounds since the beginning of March.

    Changed my diet, went harder on the workouts.

    330 -> 291 as of Monday.

    I remember losing 120lb and the way people suddenly treat you different. Admittedly I lost a bit more than weight, but I’ve worked hard.

    Exactly what I’ve been thinking as I’ve started to focus on my health too. Feels like wasted time and it’s been much easier than I led myself to believe. I thought I’d need a buddy to motivate me to go to the gym and get active again. But now I just do it after I get off work. Even if it’s just riding a bike for 30 minutes, just to be active for some time instead of wasting it sitting around doing nothing has been so much better. I feel better physically and mentally.

    If this is you too, do it! Make it an investment in yourself. It’s worth the time and money put in. Not that you need to be a bodybuilder and get absolutely jacked, but to be more active in your everyday life will improve so much for you that you never considered. After just 2 weeks of spending at least 30 minutes or more exercising, I was starting to notice results in my sleep, the way I felt mentally, the way I move about (no more being out of breath just walking up a hill; I can now walk a whole mile without taking a breather).

    If you don’t like the gym, there are alternatives like the Nintendo Switch has an awesome fitness game that is fun and entertaining and really works you out called Ringfit Adventure. There’s also VR gaming which has tons of games and apps designed to help you work out.

    Now comes the eating for me, getting into being more picky and choosy about what I put into my body to further move along in this process, which has been more difficult than just getting the motivation to go to the gym, but will also be worth it in the long run.
