I (19M) am a Christian. She (22F) is agnostic. She is suicidal at times and I told her she would rot in hell if she took her own life.

She got mad that I said that and that I would think that, and said that it wasn’t something to say to a suicidal person. She also said that suicidal people don’t belong in hell and they needed a way to escape, although suicide isn’t the answer.

I told her that God created us for a reason; to throw away His creation is a sin.

    I’m gonna keep it real with you, chief. I don’t like what you said and I wouldn’t love you anymore. Your girlfriend is probably a better person than me.

    She needs compassionate care. Not to be threatened with eternal torture. You can’t fix suffering with the promise of more suffering, that’s just pouring gas on the fire.
