The Israelis haven’t shot them while they were waving white flags, so in that sense it is very different.
The fact that that story even exists and wasn’t buried says more about Israels transparency and Hamas tactics in combat, more than relate to this new incident.

It occurred during a live filming and leaked before the Israelis could squelch it.
