The UK’s solar farms and rooftops generated more electricity than ever before in the first five months of 2025, as the country enjoyed its sunniest spring on record.

      Not sure about te UK but there are grids wherein the supply price is pegged to the most expensive and least used so as to encourage providers to produce the cheapest energy.

      It isnt a bad idea hut it requires an off ramp for the beenfits to be passed on to consumers.

        I believe our electric prices are linked to gas prices. I think it’s to do with it being our main source of generating electricity but I could be wrong.
