Our culture not only permits crime, it enriches and praises those who pillage, rape and murder their fellow humans. Still civilization descends further, denouncing and even criminalizing those who merely speak kindly of those in need. The systems we built have drained every ounce of humanity out of our lives. Culture has been hijacked by Consumerism; Hobbies have been rebranded as “side-hustles”; social connections have become “Networking”. It’s no wonder that society by-and-large does not object when told it’s “right” that children are massacred in Palestine, or anywhere else in the world, even ones own nation. Most don’t have a conscience to defend.
