Hopeless from the beginning. Conservatives can’t keep you from being who you’re supposed to be, only delay it.

Sounds about right. In my later days I tried explaining my unique tastes to my religrous parents only because they eventually came over every day and my lifestlye was all over the house. They couldnt handle it and kept digging and finding reasons to shun me. They always did thtt, looking for things they cant handle. Then they start trying to convert me to a lame christian lifestyle again in my adulthood. Like they want a conservatorship when they invaded a life perfectly fine without them knowing.

My parents gave that up decades ago when every single time they brought up religion, I would tire them out with questions they could never answer. I think they realized that they were accomplishing nothing, and maybe even hurting their own faith in the process lol

Not hopeless, just overcompensating from the freedom.

OP needs to strongly consider whether he:

    1. actually likes doing those things, or
    2. is just entranced/aroused by being able to do things that would be otherwise forbidden by his family and culture.

Either is OK, but when being the source of that behaviour, the former is a lot more healthy than the latter.

Yes, but in many to most cases, no.

People from suppressed cultures/families who suddenly experience freedom have a tendency to go after anything that spits in the face of their former repression, purely for that freedom. As in, they are motivated by the freedom to choose, and not by whether or not they actually like the act in question.

Which is why the former is much more psychologically healthier. It rarely generates regret, whereas the latter has the potential to generate regret once they “get [it] worked out of their system” and realize that they don’t like the act itself - and may actually hate it or how it’s changed them - and have only been attracted to their ability to choose it or its ability to be offensive in the context of their prior repression.

No anon, you became who you were meant to be in spite of your parents. You just be careful about it, ok?

Is what I would say if op was anon, but op isn’t anon so obviously the whole thing is fake and gay (which I’d like to remind everyone is not a bad thing).

Probably a bit of both, anon

But in reality it’s not fucked up, it’s just who you are and what you like, though again your tight ass upbringing may have given you some ideas

Parents: “You should be punished for having romantic feelings and a sense of independence”

Me: “I reflexively and ritualistically punish myself whenever I’m feeling romantic or pursuing independence”

Nah. Nothing here that I can see.

I’m not saying everyone raised catholic wants a partner who dresses like a nun and makes you call them Mother Superior, but I am saying those are the ones I hang out with

I don’t really think we need to manufacture any more. The way I see it, there’s already a natural surplus of bottoms.

It truly is a tops world. I can be verse but I prefer to top because I get way to much anxiety when people are down there. The gay hookup apps are a insatiable black hole of thirst in my area.

Intercourse isn’t even required for me. I’d rather do mutual oral, make out and give forehead kisses. But I am a people pleaser.
