    I accidentally did.

Back in jr high, I was sick as hell and helped myself to Benadryl.

Thought I was taking them as directed, over a period of days. Nope. Was taking them every hour or two for part of the morning and into the afternoon. Luckily, not a lethal dose or anything.

But I was seeing some shit!

The walls were breathing, the floor had waves, and he-man came out of my TV on battlecat to talk to me. My GI Joes had a fight with COBRA, and I vaguely remember talking to Spider-Man as I was drifting off at one point.

    Tripping

    Balls

Yeah, just stay awake long and overwork your brain (preferable with stuff you like, or you’ll fail to stay awake long enough).
You reach a point where you feel mentally tired, unable to concentrate well but unable to sleep because it is conflicting with your Carcadian rhythm. At that time, you can get to a relatively darker place, watch/read/think of whatever you want to hallucinate and it might work.

Make sure not to be sedentary during the whole exercise or you will require much more effort with much less effect.

Doing this alongside fasting, helps (makes you stay awake more).

At the end of it, your day and night cycle will be destroyed and you will have to restore it over time.
