Has anyone seen “The Great Ambition” movie?
I spent the entire day trying to find a torrent for it, and I did find an Italian version, but no subtitles, no English version, nothing. At this point I either give up watching it, or watch the Italian version with a live translator.
I see one Italian Blu-ray rip for that with Italian PGS subtitles. It’s on a pt. It would be possible to ocr the Italian subs then use a translation service to get an imperfect but perhaps serviceable result. I know subtitle edit can do ocr and translate via google for free with lesser results. Otherwise you could ocr, chop into smaller files and feed them to deepl which may give better results.

I’ve been listening to lots of King Crimson lately, especially ‘21st Century Schizoid Man’ and ‘The Court of the Crimson King’. I’ve tried some of their later stuff and it’s not really my thing though. Maybe I’ll give it another go.
Have you listened to the album Killer by Alice Cooper? King Crimson was one of his inspirations for the album especially the song Halo of Flies.
Haven’t yet since I only got into King Crimson through jojo, but I’ll definitely give it a try!
80s and 90s King Crimson is also very cool, though it takes a bit to get used to. I’m ashamed to admit I never listened to anything post-Thrak. 70s King Crimson is also peak, I love John Wetton

Anyone know of a good place for being able to share, like, a single audio file that I could delete later for privacy if I wanted to? I was gonna try soundcloud but it’s being a pain to get into a previous account I had and plus it seems like a lot for one file.
Reason I ask is I wrote a little song, liberation themed. I don’t sing much, but I did a rough rendition of it so if anyone likes the lyrics, they have a general sense of what tune I’m going for and could use it for a better rendition. But I’m getting a bit snagged on the logistics of actually sharing the audio here, where simplicity and privacy is concerned.

I thought this was hyperbolic at first, but after getting into a thing about it in youtube comments, the person could be garden-variety overzealous fan, but I’m not discounting the possibility they are part of an astroturfing campaign; they were weirdly adept at twisting everything I said to be the most bad faith, bad intentions comment possible and their coherence had a tinge to it that reminds me of LLMs that are almost on track, but just a little bit off.
