Honesty is a tough one, especially when living in a world that expects people to tell employers what they want to hear just to get decent work.
When I am interviewing people, I always appreciate when the candidate is honest about their experience - or lack of experience.
If I ask about something and they openly say they never did that, that’s a green flag.
On the other hand, if the candidate has something literally written on their CV/resume as a skill, but when I ask about that they struggle to even say anything, that’s the opposite.
I wish the HR managers I ran into were more like you.
Thanks :)
