Two hundred union workers, out of 5,700 who assemble dishwashers, refrigerators, washers, and dryers for GE Appliances-Haier at Appliance Park in Louisville, Kentucky, received notice this month that the Trump administration is revoking their work authorizations.
The immigrant workers from Cuba, Nicaragua, Haiti, and Venezuela have received a mixed reaction to their imminent deportation—hostility from some co-workers and an outpouring of support from their union and the local labor movement. They’re part of the Communications Workers’ industrial division, IUE-CWA Local 83761.


For anyone reading this: Go back and read the thing about “fixed” versus not “fixed.” It’s super weird.
The fact that this person is pretending not to understand that very simple point that I’m making, and concern-trolling about not wanting to talk more because they’re worried that I’m “rambling” and it’s “concerning”, is… well, not surprising, I guess.
My dude, this conversation started because you thought it was necessary to come at a “I completely agree, here’s another interesting facet/perspective” comment where you don’t see the connection with hostility, conspiracy theories and willful ignorance.
After getting repeatedly fact checked and refusing to engage with any of those points your only way to continue arguing your point is an insane ad Hominen that I’m a robot who easily passes the turing test.
Those are not signs of a good mental state.
