Without that, all we gonna see is some corporations running said bots to promote their products. Just wait until someone is looking to but XY, then answer it with some semi-personalized with AI text to promote your own products. This can already happen with human-run accounts, but I’d choose some small business owner stumbling on Lemmy over a bot that AI generates me a response.
