Can’t sleep, just spent a few hours tossing and turning.

Apparently I’m up in time to hear the local meth heads lose their minds in the alley 😂 late night snack and a ‘radio’ show it is!

I’ve done too much doom scrolling this morning. Now that my morning coffee is kicking in I think it’s time to switch to my book. It’s one of the old fashioned paper varieties, and although the content is interesting having to constantly hold it open is tedious, the screen resolution is not that great and there is no ability to change the font size in settings.

Sigh. Remembered that I saw a moth or two flying around… I forgot to freeze my dry goods to kill any eggs from the supermarket and then didn’t keep them sealed properly. -_- Persistent little bastards.

Whatever, I’ll throw the food out. I won’t eat it anyway. Hopefully there aren’t any clothes moths because I am not hot washing and drying everything and vacuuming is a stress on the cat

I need to clean this place though -_-

Better fucking not be clothes moths!

Bunnings has pheromone glue traps for pantry moths as well, if you find you’re seeing those bastards!

Yeah I’ve got the traps in the pantry already. They might be intended more as detectors but I reason if male moths are getting stuck it might help disrupt the breeding

Nice! And that’s it exactly! As long as some get stuck, then they won’t breed!

My clothes moths traps have trapped so many! I’m planning on buying more to get as many as possible! It’s a great method and means you’re not using insect spray (which isn’t great for humans, and definitely not cats!)

packing my husbands armani and boss suits

no matter how much I nagged him to look after them I found some moth eaten pants on the floor of his wardrobe where they had fallen😠

I would chase every moth , told him to as well, I put up traps and deterrents, I tried to make sure the doors were closed, he just doesn’t seem able or just doesn’t care . Same with his jumpers.

Yeah the little rotary tool doesn’t have enough power to enlarge the little drilled holes with the grinder bit.

Bunnings has an Ozito drill for $50 but can I justify it… I would have to buy separate drill bits too and not sure if universal

I bought cheapo corded ozito one and was very surprised it worked so well (going through thick metal posts). I think the bit was almost as expensive as the drill heh. I rate them.

Would there be a particular bit or set to buy? If I get one I only need something cheap and basic for general use

I think the cheap sets (any really) will do the trick but for more dense stuff I usually use/buy the more expensive ones individually as I keep on breaking the cheaper ones lol. It’s a graveyard of incomplete sets here :(

Ozito is rubbish, but fine for occasional household use. Bits and batteries are where the real money adds up. Boyo has Pro level gear but still covets the variety of bits that came with my now 20yo GMC set.

Ozito is not rubbish. Ozito are rebanded einhells. I’ve got a rotary hammer drill i’ve been abusing 15 years straight that is still punching holes in concrete. And their return policy if you do get a dud is generous as hell

Decided I wanted popcorn for breakfast, because adults can do that. Burnt it, and fused a not-so-heatproof mat to the bottom of the pot. Thankfully this turned into easily peelable plastic because #NotTheLeCreuset!

I realised I have next to no winter clothes that are appropriate for work. I own a couple of zip jackets and a puffer jacket but nothing that screams professional clothing.

Now is not a great time to buy winter stuff as it’s the start of the season. Silly me should have thought about this in the middle of summer.

I don’t know what to do. I have work to catch up on today but I have been resisting it all day. Got the washing done and been for a walk. Just want to lie here and finish my book and then prep food for the week. I can never judge if I need to rest or am being lazy. Or maybe I always feel like I am lazy.

Stuff it. I will just work long days during the week. I will need to anyway and it will be worse if I am not prepped and rested

We watched Flow this morning. The animated movie about the cat.

Not quite as kid friendly as Wallace and Gromit, but an interesting movie. We had to leave early so I’m keen to see how it finishes.

It’s dialogue free and doesn’t beat you over the head with story so it’s like watching a cinematic playthrough of a game like Journey. I want the boys to watch it when their a bit older to get their takes on the places, animals, and the world. It’s a great movie to get their minds going

I have been avoiding it because from previews it looks like a sad movie where bad things happen to animals, so not something I want see in my current mood. I don’t actually know anything about it though, it’s the vibe I got? If you tell me it’s happy I’ll see it.

It’s good and not too sad, but some of the ways they chose to block things makes it really stressful.

It’s not 90 minutes of animated animal torture. The cat just needs to be continually put in a situation for the tension to keep up.

We didn’t catch the end but it wasn’t overly sad up to that point. It has a really hopeful vibe and a lighter tone.

It’s like, just because it’s an animated motive it’s not completely for kids.

I tried that. The trial separation turned into divorce. Alcohol and I bump into each other occassionally at parties and have stilted polite conversations, but we are no longer in a relationship. 10/10 Highly recommended.
