They are clearly aiming to make it forbidden to even acknowledge the existence of LGBTQ+ people and to prevent anyone doing research that might benefit them or women. They’re also trying to kill science, to be replaced by evangelical Christian myths.
Trans people’s lives are hard enough as it is, but the Trump Nazis are intent on making it actual hell. It’s a real possibility that they will push not only for the invisibility and illegality of the people they don’t like, but also for the elimination of the people. Whichever countries are still managing not to go fascist need to start taking refugees from oppressed groups in the USA, before they are “deported” to camps.
In the meantime, fight to protect your fellow citizens. And scientists, resubmit the articles to the journals anonymously.
