    The US can’t stop being extremist.

    I have high criticism of the “gender spectrum” philosophy for trying to turn exact science into fuzziness. Non-binary being the best example of that, since it just means gender-confused or some form of transgender (x-to-agender) rather than being a fifth gender of some sorts.

    But LGBT, gender and transgender are accurate terms (if used correctly) and banning them will only add to more confusion.

      I will direct anyone thinking this to the gender accelerationist manifesto. Gender has never been an exact science and a strict binary has historically been imposed to create more reliable subjects for capitalism.

      It’s insane, and the US Government is insane now. They are clearly aiming to make it forbidden to even acknowledge the existence of LGBTQ+ people and to prevent anyone doing research that might benefit them or women. They’re also trying to kill science, to be replaced by evangelical Christian myths.

      Trans people’s lives are hard enough as it is, but the Trump Nazis are intent on making it actual hell. It’s a real possibility that they will push not only for the invisibility and illegality of the people they don’t like, but also for the elimination of the people. Whichever countries are still managing not to go fascist need to start taking refugees from oppressed groups in the USA, before they are “deported” to camps.

      In the meantime, fight to protect your fellow citizens. And scientists, resubmit the articles to the journals anonymously.

    All of gender? It would be funny if we inadvertently got a discussion about the difference between sex and gender out of this with people acknowledging that discussing gender at all is patiently different from discussing sex.

    next week, the environmental protection agency and national science foundation rewrite science. redacted redacted redacted. excess co2 and methane in the atmosphere is ‘good for you’ and redacted redacted. more emissions are encouraged and reward tax credits for doing!
