United States (US) President Donald Trump spoke with reporters late on Friday, further amending statements made by his own White House personnel which were also meant to amend reports that the Trump administration may be kicking the tariff can down the road to March 1.
He knows and by making EU products expensive he is forcing the consumers to buy US products or save their money. Protectionism isn’t new to the US, that’s how it built up its industrial base in the 19th century. Now how this will truly play out is to be seen.
