    Firestorm. Now imagine trying to run away from the fire and being sucked back in by the vortex.

      This is not actually a firestorm - the wind is external to the fire, it’s Santa Ana winds - hot dry desert air blowing in at high speed, any fire that starts in these conditions gets driven by these winds and spreads incredibly fast and is very hard to control.
