2·1 month agoLower temperature is not necessarily better quality. At 0 it will get very repetitive, it’s for classification tasks, not for prose.
I suppose the optimal temperature depends on the model and the task, and I don’t think it’s very sensitive. Varying temp might even give better results, who knows.

18·1 month agoBy being just a little weird, but in a pattern, and not to you. A pattern like: every n tokens raise the temperature (randomness) for one token. Then to dectect AI, you tokenize and calculate how expected each next token is. Then you try fitting the pattern to that.

Only because “he” can be gender neutral in English. Singular “they” is old but has never really been popular. The original languages don’t have gendered pronouns.
Except they’re he censorship party, not their opponents, so the only way this could be true is if they stop posting content. Utopia

Raise your prices and pay servers fairly and equally.
Yeah but we’re talking about your idea now.
We don’t need to reach utopia, but the supposed benefits of total nonprivacy only come when it’s total. Then it’ll never happen, as long as someone benefits from hiding.
Econ 101 is about the benefits af free market. All the classes after are about why it can’t be achieved and how to deal with that.
That’s not an ideology, that’s a dream. It’s trivially true, but it doesn’t apply to the real world. Nothing you do can bring reality closer to that, and you’ll just open yourself to harm.

Pornhub does this.
Tumblr doesn’t do it, but in stead incentives spreading with the queue feature. People do it out of etiquette/ to not get unfollowed.
