My trick to remember:

There is a way with chmod in bash to change files and folders with files getting no execute bit and folder do (rwX instead of rwx). It’s in the man pages but good luck finding it via Google. Stackoverflow just suggests using find over and over again.

Everybody understand both notations, but if you use it for filenames sorting is important. Natural sorting order is an important feature that should be considered.

day month year is just stupid in that regard. Not only does the of the month depend on the language, but also if sorted you get the first of every month grouped together.

Anyway, i think the stanford prision experiment is a bad example for that though, because it also incorprates peer pressure and concludes that nobody will think twice doing harm to others, as long as they are told to do so by authority. Humanity isn’t that bad I hope

Haven’t worked with Windows for years, but this should work:

The virtual machine needs to use a bridged network instead of NAT. This can be configured in virtualbox. Then you use your router to block the IP of your windows host and only allow the IP of the VM.

No idea if android studio also supports bridging though.

Edit: This also has the advantage, that it can’t be circumvented from inside your windows host
