17 hours agoMy language doesn’t really have hyphenated words or different dashes. It’s mostly punctuation within a sentence. As such there are almost no cases where one encounters a dash without spaces.

Am I… AI? I do use ellipses and (what I now see is) en dashes for punctuation. Mainly because they are longer than hyphens and look better in a sentence. Em dash looks too long.
However, that’s on my phone. On a normal keyboard I use 3 periods and 2 hyphens instead.

Didn’t know 3 out of 8 remaining things so there’s that.
I’m the opposite, the OG photo reads white and gold no matter what edits I see. Even after seeing the dress in proper light the OG is still white and gold.
This is very similar to what the nazi and the soviets did. Removing people under pretext of law with no regard to process or people. It doesn’t seem as extreme but the course is definitely clear.
To the troll that keeps regurgitating “illegal aliens” rhetoric. Dressing up with masks and shit doesn’t grant one an authority to pick people of the streets. Any “leader” that enables this just wants chaos and doesn’t give a fuck about the nation. It’s just tyranny under the guise of patriotism. It happened many times before.

Didn’t even know the expression with poetic.
For blue I just went with bald guys, probably famous from movies, games or other entertainment. From the original group context I knew one guy (who’s probably not bald as far as I remember), but the other two fit very well with bald guys and snake was way more of a bald dude name than any other leftovers.

- Purple Didn’t even know what foil was, just guessed things that can be used for covering stuff.
- Yellow Disregarded final as there are multiple finals not one. And then thought of a ball as in celebration at the graduation or something.

I had an idea for green, but dead was taken and smack was sort of taken.
Blue, feels like a strech even with the group.

No idea what yellow is. I get the category, but none of those names correlate with anything I’ve eaten. I have heard / seen three of them in media, but don’t know what’s the difference between them.
