Slapping a disclosure doesn’t give you a get out of jail free card if you oppose AI ads in general. The argument of “well now they just won’t tell you” rings a bit hollow.

AI or not the ad in question was dogshit.

Maybe the ones you eat!
That Kash pic is fucking gold
I would agree.
I say it less as I know why and more that I know a lot of municipalities (including mine) have laws and codes in place that prevent using properties as hotels, and have had them for years, and yet they still operate.
So either they’re hard to enforce or they’re understaffed to do so.
They do but it’s apparently hard to enforce.
I’ve never Airbnb’d and I never intend to. I like my hotels thank you very much.

Wouldn’t be surprised if this was the garbage tech powering the NHL board ads.
Non-engineering roles I think.
IIRC levels correspond to all employees across the company.
Yeah it’s weird and I don’t get it either.
Yeah this was my experience when I worked there. Driving goals and doing good work isn’t enough. You need a fancy project to demonstrate “expanded scope” otherwise your promo would get rejected.
Sometimes things worked the way you wanted and people got promoted doing their normal job. A lot of times though there were a lot of fancy projects built to get people promos that suckers got stuck with the bill on.
This ain’t a case of one dude scamming the system as much as it is institutional rot from red tape.

That one is dumb. I love E33 so much but you can tell this had a budget behind it.
They need a “small team” game award or something like that or enforce requirements on indie categories.
