I just saw the post about Red Dead 2 becoming the 4th most sold game.

It is 100% not my thing.

Its sad that I enjoyed GTA V, and am semi looking forward to GTA VI too, but the wild west genre is not for me.

Bazzite is not perfect, (I might even switch back to EndevourOS if/when I’m bored of my gaming phase) but right now, all but 1 of my steam games are launching, and my GOG games are all working first try with Heroic.

My mate installed Linux Mint the other week. (Yay) I don’t know how Mint is different from Bazzite, or what file manager he is using, but I know enough terminal to show him how to mount his old hard drive and save some files from his windows partition.

All this news cycles for 18 websites listed so far (And only 9 actually affected)

Scratch is probably the number 1 site at my school, and there is still no news on if that will be affected or not.

Renamed a few apps to simpler names (phocid > music. Tubular > newpipe etc)

Just type the app I want, and boom. It opens.

Technically speaking. It is great. 1 sentence and all your work is done? Easy. I work in a school. The lazy teachers will say ‘tell me the similarities and differences between X and Y cultures’ print off the 3-4 pages, and read it to the students. Super easy

But I will never use it, because I don’t want a future dependent on the AI companies. I want a future of people talking to people, not compters

I’m with my Linux build. Co-worker is proud of their windows 11 build. We can still nerd about new upgrades/optamising our separate work flows.
