Awesome! I’m glad you were able to get it going, and thank you for the follow up! It makes me happy when I can actually help another soul out! Fox on, my friend! :-]

I believe the Steam Deck has a different frame for the OLED in such a slight way that an OLED screen (that isn’t specifically made for the LCD model anyway) won’t fit or something like that.
I have an LCD and looked into it at one point, but I’m sure you can find it if needed.

From the Common Dreams website Zedstrian posted:
“It will also include modifications to the zoning code to create hundreds of housing co-ops.”
Well, I’m happy they are at least performing like the clowns they are, but I am more of talking about my fellow Americans. The normal citizens who don’t hold any power like myself. Those are the ones (including mine) whose hands it has fallen upon to stand firm and demand the administration face any consequences for all the fuckery they have done and continue to do every single day.
Ah, yes. Let me go out by myself and start demanding the current administration be held accountable… I’m sure that will go as smoothly as I imagine…
Besides giving that answer, why don’t you talk to me about what you and I can do together to get more people involved?

I have Firefox and have it set up to erase all history and cookies. I just like a clean and cleared browser when I get on. To prevent myself from having to log in to every website I might need to use that day, I took all of my websites I go to regularly, and made a container for them in Firefox Containers. Then, I go into Firefox settings and paste the websites into the Exceptions under Browsing data.
This has worked for me for years, so I hope you try it out and it works for you too! :-]
I was thinking yesterday how I’m just so ashamed that the public at large has largely said, “Oh well!” and moved on to the next thing as they usually do. I guess I was stupid to think my fellow Americans would start a movement to get rid of all these fuckers.
I see Granny Weatherwax and Nanny Ogg, and I upvote. Simple as.
Thank you for sharing! :-]

Thank you so much for being educational instead of snarky!
If the OP commenter does stick with Windows for whatever reason, please look into ChrisTitusTech’s WinUtil. This is what I had to do to get my Windows SSD to work the way I want it to.
It never hurts to have an SSD for both if needed! :-]

The CEO of Proton threw his weight behind Trump’s Fucking Clown Caucus about them being “better for small businesses”.

I got my first OLED monitor a few days ago, and was excited to try HDR out.
I have no idea what HDR is really supposed to look like, but Windows’ version or implementation of HDR is garbage. My icons on just my taskbar looked so incredibly washed out I worried I made a mistake getting the monitor itself.
Turned off HDR and noticed colors popping again. The hell is so special about HDR…? lol

Got the Rii 4 recently to use with my Steam Deck since I got tired of my Roku I bought 6 years ago sending telemetry/statistics outbound (and getting blocked by my PiHole/router combo) that I unplugged it and threw it into a drawer. Excellent little piece of kit!

That’s what I’ve done (Use MassGravel for Enterprise version of 11 because fuck it why not for best results?) and haven’t had any issues with Windows 11 since. Had to hop back on my Windows SSD for a game that just came out and had one update after a whole year of running strictly Linux!
I have so much bad luck that I truly do just laugh at it now. It has broken me. :'-]

Oh man. Let me tell you about what I saw from the Roku I got back in 2020 or so.
I got a pihole before or shortly after my Roku. The PiHole showed my most blocked device being… the Roku. Almost over 4000 DNS requests denied, especially after I fully blocked them on the PiHole because I got tired of their ads being shown when all I’m turning the damn thing on for is Plex/Jellyfin.
They don’t like that one bit! Get this, for the time to be accurate, it MUST have connection to their servers. Not just once, mind you. Every day I leave my house, I turn off things, the Roku being one of them. I turn it off by turning off the extension it is plugged into. Every time I turned it back on, it would just show the time you cut it off at. So, if it was 8 AM when you turned it off, and it is now 9 PM, well, the clock on the Roku would still be around 8 AM.
So, yeah. Now, I just use my Steam Deck as my watching device, hooked up to the dock. Added benefit of not having to “sideload” (read install) a YouTube IPA onto my phone. Fuckers.

One thing I dislike about Linux for real is that some people are saying it boots up just fine out of box, and others (like myself) can’t even get it to run at all. Ugh. Thank you for your comment though!
Thank you! I will look more into EndeavourOS. :-]

Thank you for the comment!
I won’t lie, when you said something about SELinux it reminded me of my horrible time with AppArmor the first time I installed openSUSE Tumbleweed. I think you may be on to something here with this SELinux thought. I think it is possible, but my memory is not always reliable, so I will ask for posterity sake, can AppArmor/SELinux not be installed on my openSUSE Tumbleweed? If I could do that, without any major drawbacks, I would just reinstall Tumbleweed and call it a day, as I do like mostly everything else about Tumbleweed. :-]
Hi, I just recently made a post and it was about Crimson Desert and me searching for a distro that doesn’t need any extra hassle for the game to get going. I currently use openSUSE Tumbleweed, but moved back over to my Windows SSD to be able to play the game.
My question is: What distro are you using and is it an AMD or NVIDIA card? :-]
Generally, developers who released on Steam at one point and then try to do their own launcher or something usually come crawling back. Maybe we’ll get that this time too!
