Cyrodillic Brandy has no physics and wont fall. Staircase away, my friend. Especially if you know how to dupe. (its ridiculously easy)
God, thats the worst. particularly when you already hate your job. Dreaming about a regular-ass shift and then waking up and having to do it again. Sucks big time…
(1.5x5.5 for the non-retarded among us)
I am really not a fan of how common this word is becoming again in everyday vernacular.
Im totally stealing this.
Ive been seriously looking into making the switch. After some reading I decided Mint would be the easiest transition and downloaded the ISO to try it out with a USB boot. Im sure its a fluke, but since I have dual monitors the display was messed up and whenever I tried to fix it the entire GUI went away on both monitors and wouldn’t recover. I had to force power off the machine and ive been hesitant since then to make the actual switch. Id hate to brick my machine right off the bat, just trying to swap display sources.
There’s no other option, they will just have to get another Chihuahua to balance the load.
That one got my mom once and she freaked out at the neighbor kid because he ‘knew computers’ so it must have been him.
Are those bean bag chairs? I would love a bean bag chair that looks like a boulder.
Same here. Ive got 40 hours or so in it, and have no desire to mod the game. Virtuous really did a great job modernizing the game and besides maybe some minor UI tweaks and QOL stuff in the inventory, there isn’t much i feel im missing not having mods.
This is stuck in my head now.
The ole poop and scoot. I had a cocker spaniel who was a master at this maneuver.
I wouldn’t say 40% are “fine with this”. Its more like 40% of Americans are some combination of: Uneducated by design, Brainwashed by decades of propaganda, Kept so far in poverty they can’t focus on anything but their next paycheck, indoctrinated into toxic religious communities, etc. The current state of the US, has been carefully molded and shaped into what it is now by the fascists in power.
As for people not fighting back? Some are. Not enough of course, but that goes back to keeping people in poverty. It would take me, for example, 7 hours of driving just to get to my state capitol to protest. Not to mention a couple hundred $ in gas. People working two jobs and living paycheck to paycheck just can’t do that realistically.
I hate that my country has turned into this fascist shithole and wish that more people would rally and fight. I hate that I’m sitting here making excuses for these people but I’m really trying not to lose my humanity in all this. The sad truth of the matter, though, is that people won’t fight unless their life is disrupted so much that it snaps them out of their survival mentality. Bread and Circuses and all that.
Yeah, I think it reads more just have a breakdown/burnout but your a good person for writing that out. <3
Ive told this story before so heres the short version. In high school I had a part time job at a dinner and some Kristian Karen Klub came in and tipped with these fake bills. It had the church name on it, which happened to be on my way to school so the next day I just went and shoved them in their donation box.
If they get really motivated they might sing a song or two in front of CECOT.
I just made a shopping list of bulk items im going to stock up on tomorrow. Just staples like four, rice, beans, pasta and stuff like that for now but I might start doing some small scale gardening. I only have a tiny patio to work with so probably potato buckets and small herb garden. Other than that, its just kinda wait and see i guess.
This hurt my brain for a second.
A very good point.
A few weeks after my mom passed, I was reading a book winding down for the night. I set the book down in the middle of a very large coffee table and went to bed. Maybe 20 mins after laying down I heard a loud bang in the living room. I shot outta bed and grabbed a bat and went to investigate. In the living room, on the floor about 5 feet from the table, was the book I was reading. There were no animals or other people in the house and all the doors and windows were locked. This was a heavy hardcover book, so I don’t think wind or something like that picked it up and threw it. Im skeptical by nature but I still can’t come up with an explanation for that one.
