They formed an llc to help get funding for the project and to hire maintainers and the like. They’ve also contracted with some other companies to add support for things like the security tab (from gh), azure support, etc that are currently only available on “enterprise” gitea because of contract reasons. Last I heard the goal was to get those contributed to the main oss gitea but it’s a bit of work to get done because lawyers
I tested it a bit, works well!
We will aim to release 4.4 in around a month
Hype!
Godot 4.4 beta just released and has a lot of requested features!
Ah I was going off other replies I’d seen, I’d love to be wrong! I’ve been playing 8 since I was a freshman in college
When they show MK8 on a third console
According to the website it can play switch 1 and 2 games and they’re doing a direct on April 2
I think this is great, it will fix a few annoyances and I can see it potentially being useful for complicated addons.
Also, the 4.4 beta just released! No blog post yet
Hell, I hate editing bash scripts I’ve written. The syntax just isn’t as easy
I agree with your points, except if the script ever needs maintaining by someone else’s they will curse you and if it gets much more complicated it can quickly become spaghetti. But I do have a fair number of bash scripts running on cron jobs, sometimes its simplicity is unbeatable!
Personally though the language I reach for when I need a script is Python with the click library, it handles arguments and is really easy to work with. If you want to keep python deps down you can also use the sh module to run system commands like they’re regular python, pretty handy
MAM is charming and so well put together, the dev’s interview on the podcast was a fun listen too, if you’re into that! Enjoy the rest of the season 😄 you’ve got a looot coming up
It is different, at least according to the threads I found! In split screen they’re all from Player 1’s party and the second player only controls their character. local multiplayer is a little janky, sometimes player 2 turns invisible and the only way to fix it is to force a cutscene
Woohoo!! 💛 I’ve been curious, I know some of them didn’t make it until the new year. How’s it been? They recently asked devs if they wanted to test web request support so it’s exciting times!
My partner and I got Baldurs Gate 3 and it has been a delight. We pass the ps5 controller so we each get an npc during combat and do splitscreen for the world. She’s a dragonborn paladin and I’m a tiefling warlock, we spent the weekend clearing out a dungeon of goblins!
And if you want to support him, you can buy them all on itch! https://kenney.itch.io/kenney-game-assets
A ton of awesome stuff here, even if you don’t care about the models the UI and particle assets are great
This is great news!
I was lucky there, I still regularly use my Rift S so my account was at least current. That’s a weird problem… we’ve been updating so thankfully don’t have any need for the older (standalone) headsets
That quote is hilarious to me, I guess they haven’t stumbled upon design patterns yet? I don’t even know who this blog is supposed to be for, there’s no name attached so I’m half guessing it’s more AI slop
