I have never used BSD, but I can try to describe why I am not actively considering using it or its derivatives. My impression is that BSD has delays when opening and closing programs that make it harder to use- even with a familiar desktop environment. Although they are better for security, the consumer-facing forks/spinoffs still sound more difficult to setup and use. I think that these problems could be solved with development work and wider adoption, but I am not really on the bleeding edge of software. I am not prepared to troubleshoot on my own, and my priority is avoiding Windows software over maximizing security.

It’s possible my secondhand impression of BSD is not really reflective of recent usability improvements- but that is my thought process.

By any measure- Bukele has been overwhelmingly popular given his mandate to combat gangs. But it has been years since he assumed emergency powers now and I do not think he is in a hurry to go back to normal.

The quality can vary by the avocado. If it is slightly stringy, brown or metallic, the fruit is bad. Even a good avocado still has a mild flavor. I think that avocado is good with salt, cumin, tomato salsa, or garlic powder. In some recipes, people add cilantro or lime juice, too.

Avocados are good for sandwiches, but you can also make guacamole dip with them. The guacamole pairs with chips. I don’t think people eat avocados on their own very much.

It sounds like they only have one communique from an official to the EU. If this is state policy, it’s a bad sign.

I think the channel is trying to downplay the comments to make them sound more normal and sane.
