In any other case, he would’ve been gone. Red Bull wasn’t great this year, maybe he used this as an argument. His experience will count. But if he hasn’t had a few podiums after race 10, I think he’ll be gone.
Remember, Red Bull is first and foremost a marketing company that sells stuff.
I suspect he’s there because Red Bull sells a lot of cans and merch in Latin America with him on the team, and also because Carlos Slim sponsorship is worth a lot.
I think they also know the Drivers’ Championship is more important than the Constructors’ Championship for marketing purposes.
I suspect they’ve done the math and know that he’s worth more to them on the team than someone who would be a better driver.
(Also it means they don’t have to worry about the number 2 driver challenging the number 1 driver ever. The cost is that they also can’t use him to defend against rival teams, but that hasn’t been a meaningful problem for them yet.)

IIRC you take both your father’s and mother’s last names in Spain, but I think day to day you just use one of them.
You use both. Taking attendance, calling someone off the waiting room, you would use the full name, first name and two last names.

So Yuki failed on the test and got assigned to RB, interesting. I wonder how long he’s going to be there before he gives up. Honda will probably pay for him to be there indefinitely, but it has to be hard on someone as driven as him.
These aren’t definite, the teams can change their entries at any point. It’s only the status quo right now.
