Love this comparison, someone I’ve wondered off and on about. Yes tires are a big deal! Don’t cheap out on them.

Paying more for a consumable just feels wrong to most people. Runs counter to pretty much every bit of our psychology. I buy good tires but it still hurts swiping that card.
I hear you, took me a long time to realize which ones are worth spending money on.
