This is like kids at a restaurant. 2 kids are getting the things they always get. One kid changes their mind last second. Other kids mocks them about how bad their food is gonna suck, should have gotten old faithful, etc. Turns out the new choice was great, superior in fact. Now the other kid wants to change his choice but it be too late ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    Hurr hurr hurr.

What’s great is that because of Red MAGA, this would divide the party in such a way that it would never come back together. Blue MAGA got it’s faced punched in when the time came, but Red MAGA is much much more in control of their party.

Expect people to write in DJT for decades after the guy is dead and burrired. Once DJT is out of the picture, they are well and truly fucked.

I expect politicians of both parties will call their opponent “another Trump” as an attack and insult for the next 100+ years after Donald Trainwreck is gone

There is no better word for the cult that tried to force Biden and thereby Trump on us.

Thankfully they didn’t get the nation-state backing that Red MAGA got.

No one was trying to “force Biden.” Biden was the candidate. No one ran against him. The only person who had control over whether he decided to bow out was Biden himself. As long as he was the candidate, fuck yes I’m going to be all-in on Biden, because the alternative is Trump. That doesn’t prevent me from simultaneously observing reality and airing my concerns about his abilities to the party. The second he dropped out, every “Blue MAGA” you’re on about breathed a sigh of relief and lined up behind Harris, demonstrating how what you’re describing isn’t even remotely comparable to “MAGA.”

Blue MAGA is a word the MAGAs made up because MAGA is a cuss word now. Don’t spread their word just because you’re upset at politics. None of this is new.

No, actually, its been around since 2017.

                Your ignorance doesn’t mean shit.

There are plenty of this platform right here objectively are blue MAGA, and were insisting we run a candidate that was absolutely floundering, with almost no public support.

It was Blue MAGA forcing Joe Biden upon us and insisting there was no better way. And if it was you doing that, guess what?

                Its a real thing.

They’re Anti-MAGA and Pro democracy, that’s why they would vote everyone that isn’t a MAGA Fascist. It doesn’t make them blue extremists.

How many of those people do you see calling for Biden to come back?

How many people do you see Biden calling a god?

How many people do you see wearing diapers in the name of Biden?

Waah so they willingly bought into the maga cult, kept up the whole ideology, just to try to smear normal people with their own cult name??? Like how little self awareness do they even have? How do theses people function?

That is just… So. Fucking. Wierd.

Like i can only think that they have sever chronic substance problems to maintain such a reasoning.

It’s the term Republicans use because they assume that Democrats are just as hard for their candidate as they are for their own. They think that their fanaticism is normal.

I get what you’re coming from, but people did run against him. It’s just they weren’t taken seriously because usually an incumbent is considered the de facto candidate for a party in most cases.

No one with a snowball’s chance in hell of winning any primary, even if there were no incumbent. There were no realistic candidates in the primary besides Biden, and he beat all those candidates handily regardless

I think you’re crazy if you think no one had a chance even if Biden weren’t an incumbent.

Part of the reason there were so few realistic candidates is because he was the incumbent. Both because of tradition and because of the momentum being an incumbent gives him.

    Something to remember:

Don’t think for one minute that “not-Trump” means “not-Project 2025”.

This plan will be on the back burner quietly simmering away until all those who support it are evicted from the RNC.

They prefer it, but he’s the nominee, so they’d jump off a bridge to follow him. I like when reporters ask random Trump supporters random questions on the street and they all basically say “well, I hate a dozen things about this guy and don’t trust him at all, but there isn’t an alternative”
