          I think what is happening here is that you are measuring grossness by volume of shit, where i am highly scientifically calculating the variety of grossness. That is, to me, shit AND fart is far worse than just shit.

    So I use GIMP instead of photoshop, which suits my novice needs just fine. However, I’m not aware of a good FOSS alternative for reading and writing pdf files. LibreOffice maybe? Anyone have good suggestions?
