I’ve been hiking and then on a bike tripe and had absolutely no time, sadly. Now I’m home I’ll try to catch up with you all

The pase is good, I find it quite interesting. I didn’t know this text/book existed for some reason.

I am using it to create zettelkasten notes with all the anarchist concepts.

      I keep mine here:) https://codeberg.org/BlastboomStrice/book-notes/src/branch/main/AFAQ-Summary.md

My dude you are writing a book XD

I think of uploading mine too somewhere, but I want to represent connections somehow. Like the graph view in obsidian maybe.

Lol, I’m doing around 90% “compression” of afaq in that .md, something short but long enough, not sure how it’ll go.

About the latter @[email protected] does that:)

@[email protected] I think you can just use obsidian to publish, but idk i’ve never tried. I do love the graph though

While reading the A.1 chapter, the FAQ frequently reminds me of very strange human behaviour that I can observe in everyday life - strong rejection of opinions that doesn’t come from big sources.

And when a result of (mentioned itself) way of education, it struck me very hard especially in section A.1.3. Why there? Because it reminds me of never ending wave of arguments from my friends, who did not asked me questions, but assumed what I think, but in reality they projected their own education an way of thinking (about anarchism) on me. And they didn’t want to listen.

EDIT: I forgot about conclusion of my own though - Well. I do not know how to overcome this echochamber while talking to people. Most of the time I just decide not to waste my own time for such discussions, because it looks more like monologue in which I am not welcome.

I could once again, mention the argument on the fediverse phenomenon - while people preffer to use enshittified software made by corps, than to try something new- but I am not in a mood for this. 🤓

Yeah, like, it’s opinions, why not believe an anarchist about what they define as anarchism when they not only advocate for it, but also practice it. Why would they create a false theory and spend their lives fighting for it, lol.

If practically all anarchists agree with the core part of afaq then it probably defines anarchism well, lol.

About the last part, true, on the one hand I’d like to just not bother and look after for what I care, but this may lead to isolation from the rest of the people which is not helpful if I want to see it grow, ugh

I encountered something like that in a context of presents you gift to other people. Inescapably, they hold your perception of who they are and what you think is a worthy present. We are all tired, imperfect and are not sharing the mind of other person, we have just clues in that situation, and whatever we gift is a reflection of ourselves in some way, but still, in the same context, we can compare gifts that are done with a research, a thought, a care about other side, to giving them an average pack of what Walmart sells as a birthday gift bag. This sounds too silly, but I found it a relateable example signifying the importance of hearing others and not yourself only. There’s only so much effort you can put in some bd present, right, but at the same time, every little deviation out of an average course, personalizing such gift, is rewarding. And that care and communication is probably the base of a healthy society.

Pace was good to me, I’m a bit behind due to some work and life stuff, but I think outside of the abnormal there it would be the right pace for me.

I’m planning to go back and post up some thoughts on week 1 probably tomorrow when I have a bit more time.
