The Lynnwood City Council voted to adopt a new development code. Lynnwood will no longer require parking for senior housing, child care facilities, housing near transit and affordable housing.

Previous to this, the city killed all senior housing, child care and affordable housing projects that didn’t include parking.

They should refuse any development with car only infrastructure. It’s a start though!
