So, the (likely) answer turned out to hide behind a very simple web search… Moths, apparently (though maybe you need to check the size of the eggs, I am not so sure about those 1.2mm).
Egg color… round, oval? Are these colors only moths can see?

I googled Luna moth eggs and it seems theyre more of a brownish shape (🤭).
It’s getting real annoying having to sift through the bullcrap in search results…
