    Yeah, when most of your masters and PhD students are foreigners with a student visa, it’s quite a risk for them to travel to the U.S.

    Good call. They will now only be missing potential attendees from the states who are afraid to leave the country because they might be detained on their return.

      Why wait? There’ve been posts reporting exit checkpoints for people travelling from the US to Canada, if your name is on the wrong list, they might just grab you then

        Heck, people are being arrested just for being in the US, even those who were there by legal means. Even citizens aren’t safe if they’re not even checking who they’re arresting before, during, and after the arrest.
