    Ackchyually… Bikini Bottom is (probably) in the Marshall Islands which have free healthcare - mostly paid by the US at that.

      No, you won’t get kicked out of a hospital because you don’t have insurance. They will still treat you and then send you the bill.

      But here’s the thing: there’s no law forcing you to pay it. You can just ignore medical debt and it’ll eventually go away after seven years. I’m almost 40 and have been doing this my entire life. I’ve never paid a single medical bill ever.

      I fact, I believe that Biden passed a law during his term that prevented medical debt from affecting your credit score. But I’m not sure if Trump undid that or not.

      Yup. Consider yourself fortunate.

      Though it is illegal for a hospital to refuse you life threatening first aid or care. You may just go bankrupt from it later.
