Ever since my first orgasm, I felt awful for a few days after each time I did it. I had trouble choosing words and concentrating on daily tasks, and I had anhedonia. I was searching for info but was only seeing those “research shows masturbation is good” articles, which invalidated my experiences and only radicalized me against science and medicine in favor of some esoteric bullshit. So, I got into a sect connected with NoFap in my teenage years and lost a big chunk of my personality.
Later, it appeared I had post-orgasmic illness syndrome (POIS) this entire time, a super under-researched disease, which not a single of those masturbation articles mentioned. I wish they did. I was struggling so much due to not even knowing what was happening with me and my body.
I mean yes it can be good for you. But I think a large portion of the populace including a lot of the youths are heavily addicted to pornography.

What do you mean by “lost in pornography”? Like, do you mean developing unrealistic expectations for IRL sexual partners? Or something else?
